Podwave Academy’s Schools Program introduces students to the exciting world of podcasting while building valuable life skills that extend far beyond the microphone.
Through hands-on workshops, students learn how to develop ideas, structure stories, conduct interviews, and record their own podcasts in a supportive and creative environment.
Podcasting naturally encourages confidence, creativity, and collaboration. Students work together to plan, produce and share their stories, strengthening teamwork while learning how to express their ideas clearly and thoughtfully.
Our program is designed to empower young people with the communication skills that matter in today’s world — helping them find their voice, think critically, and discover the power of storytelling.
Programs can be tailored to suit your school’s schedule; whether it be an 8 week program across weekly STEM classes, or a shorter two week daily program.
At Podwave Academy, we believe every student has a story worth sharing.
The Podwave Academy team have years of podcasting experience, and thrive on sharing this knowledge with the next generation.
We work alongside you in tailoring the program to suit your school’s needs, scheduling and outcomes, while also offering recommendations to ensure that students get the most out of the program.
As part of the program, students will be able to visit the Podwave Studios for an excursion to receive hands on experience using top-class audio and video equipment.
From program planning to final project delivery, the Podwave Academy team will work closely with your school for each step of the program.
All Podwave Academy team members hold current working with children’s checks.
The Podwave Academy team are able to help with providing paperwork required for your government grant if required.
